Wooly Floral Sewing Caddy by Rebekah L. Smith

Finished Size: 10’’ x 7’’
Students will stitch this sewing caddy which highlights a pin cushion and a pocket. The kit includes the wool, cotton binding, pattern, instructions, freezer paper, and floss.

Wooly Basket by Rebekah L. Smith

Students will stitch a wooly to attach to the front of this jute basket. The kit will include wool, pattern, instructions, floss, and freezer paper.

TOOL POUCH

Option 1 - Hooked

An easy and exciting tool pouch in a kit prepared for you.

 The kit contains the design drawn on linen with a zipper already sewn on the linen--even before you hook it! 

Materials include wool, sari ribbon, paisley plus a little stuffing for applique, Petersham ribbon, velvet, a pinwheel making tool, lining, needles and thread and rug yarn for assembling, beads and instructions. 
Finished pouch measures 4 1/2" by 9"

You bring a small frame and your hook. 

The complete kit and class will be $85.00

Twisted Wool Tree –Class /Demo

This fun and easy tree made from torn wool strips will is a great addition to any holiday décor. 

 Kits will be available for $15.00.

  Kits include: misc. supplies, wool for tree, star and tree skirt, patterns and instructions.  
All you bring is your scissors. May also bring wooden spool, or bobbin for a tree stand or wait until your tree is made and find a creative tree stand. My tree stands are various spools, bobbins, and a glass perculator insert. (See photo) Time to make 30 to 45 minutes.

HOOKED ON WOOL CHAIR PAD WORKSHOP

Imagine hooking a decorative pad for your chair without all the work of hooking an entire background! 

Project can be selected from several different designs which will be drawn on ½ yd of 100% rug hooking wool, which can then be cut into a shape suitable for your chair. 

Materials needed: A sturdy rug hooking frame; a hook suitable for wide cut hooking (one can be purchased from me at the workshop if desired); sharp scissors; several colors of PREWASHED STURDY hooking wool for motif; *A prewashed rug wool selection will also be available for purchase from my booth before the workshop or you may bring your own. 

Basic materials cost: $65.00

Participants will need to contact Adrienne at least 3 weeks prior to the workshop to discuss color options & choice of motif, or select randomly from available designs at the workshop.

"You need to be a Rug Hooker"

This class is perfect to learn rug hooking.

You may choose either a primitive cat or dog; drawn on linen. Your chosen pattern will include pre-cut wool, a basic hook and photo.


Instructions will cover:

1.)How to hold a hook and wool strips
2.)Where to begin in a pattern
3.)Instructions will explain how to begin and end loops.
4.)Adding different shades for depth and the reason
5.)How to do an echo
6.)Easy way to finish off linen edges
7.)Blocking the linen

* You will need to bring scissors and a frame, needle and quilting thread.

*All necessary items will be available for purchase, please notify Carol if you need any of these items so I can assure sufficient quantities.

When completed you will have a mat to use on a table, seat pad or hang your piece on the wall.


​Cost is $85.00 which is class fee and materials.
